With Easter soon upon us, we’re beginning to see Egg Hunts and Easter Bunnies. You gotta love it! We hope you’ll support the Easter-related events listed in this week’s Wrap and, of course, all of the events. 🌟 Featured Event: Easter Egg-Stravaganza🌟

The Wallingford Y is once again holding its popular Egg-Stravaganza consisting of an Easter Egg Hunt, a Spring craft, themed games, Easter Bunny free photos and more. Because of the popularity of this event, pre-registration is required.

More Bunnies! Chunky Bunny Workshop 🐰

Head on over to Paradise Hills Vineyard for a hand knit chunky bunny workshop where you'll learn how to create your own snuggly bunny! No experience necessary. You will be guided through the process step by step. Get ready to snuggle up in style.

Bakeoff to Benefit Sunshine Kids 🌞

Show off your skills and enter the Berkshire Hathaway bakeoff to benefit Sunshine Kids. To compete, send your recipe to ssk@bhhsne.com. More importantly, come and join in as they taste and vote for the best baked goods. Purchase your $10 tickets be a taste-tester; bakers come for free. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

Go Back to the 80s with Bernie! 🕺🏽

Head on over to the Polish National Alliance, 171 North Plains Industrial Road, on April 12 for a night of 80s music and fun. Music by Bernie. Dress the part!

Pancake Breakfast at the Grange 🥞

Celebrate spring with breakfast, friends and pancakes! This month the special flavor is funfetti. As always buttermilk and chocolate chip pancakes are also an option. Included in the $6 price is two sausage links and beverage of choice. Kids portion for just $3. And the fun doesn’t end there! Immediately following breakfast, the craziness of an Easter Egg Hunt will ensue for the kids!

Powder House Day Reenactment 🎖️
The Wallingford Historical Society and the Second Company Governor’s Foot Guard is hosting a special re-enactment of “Powder House Day.” The event celebrates the 250th anniversary of the chartering of the Foot Guard, of Arnold’s Demanding of the Keys and of the Foot Guard’s march through Wallingford on its way to Boston.

Where: Beginning at Parsons House, located at 180 South Main Street, and continuing to the Congregational Church

Comedy Night at New England Cider 😂
This Friday should be an unforgettable evening of laughing at New England Cider Company with some of the funniest and most talented comics featured from all over the Northeast. The Comedy Craft Beer Tour brings the best of Northeast comedy to local breweries and wineries throughout New England and beyond for an evening that keeps the drinks flowing and the laughs coming.

Adaptive Golf Clinic at Gaylord ⛳
Gaylord Sports Association continues its series of clinics with the next one designed to provide adult golfers with physical disabilities and visual impairments the opportunity to work with a trained PGA professional, Certified Recreation Therapists and experienced volunteers. The goal is to adapt the sport of golf, overcome barriers and support independence. Beginners and returning participants are welcome and all equipment is provided.

The Great Spring Cleaning Book Bonanza 📚
Ready for some Spring cleaning? Need to find a place to donate good condition used books? Help the Wallingford Public Library Book Seller stock the shelves.
Bring your books to the library on Saturday April 12 or Saturday April 19 from 10 am - 3 pm. Books can be dropped off at the library’s garage in the back of the building for a chance to win a summer-inspired gift basket including a $25 Amazon Gift Card. Proceeds from book sales support the library’s Sunday hours and virtual author visits.
